  Thallus pale olive-green, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, black, scattered, immersed, curved or sinuous, occasionally branched and forming substellate clusters, 2–6 mm long, 0.25–0.40 mm wide, with a slightly raised thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised. Hymenium 125–150 µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, muriform, 10–12 (–13) × 2–3-locular, 37–50 × 10–13 µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid.
     
  An endemic, corticolous species (on Sloanea) in eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.
